Trenton Trenton is a small town of around one thousand eight hundred people (est. 2006) located in Gilchrist County, Florida. Trenton has antique and novelty shops as well as restaurants that are just a short walk from the nature coast state trail. Historic landmarks are just around the corner and near the shops of downtown. Trenton is about a twenty minute drive from Chiefland and around a fifty minute commute from Gainesville.

Stopping for a meal at the Cracker Box Cafe or chatting with locals at the Suwannee Valley Quilt Shoppe is a great way to experience small town florida. Trenton Agriculture continues to be an influence in the area and a number of farms can be found on the outskirts of town.
